- We have developed our anti-colic valve to prevent air from accumulating in your baby's tummy and to relieve colic and discomfort. When your baby feeds, the valve integrated into the teat expands to prevent a vacuum from forming and draws air into the back of the bottle. This keeps the air in the bottle away from your baby's tummy, helping to reduce the frequency of colic and discomfort. The shape of the teat allows for secure suction, and the ribbed texture helps prevent the teat from collapsing. This makes feeding uninterrupted and comfortable. The Philips Avent anti-colic teat is made of bisphenol A-free material (silicone).
