Made from non-toxic latex-, lead- and bisphenol-free material, the compresses can be used cold or warm depending on your needs.For warm use, they help unclog blocked milk ducts and provide relief from mastitis as well as swollen, overcrowded breasts. Heat packs should be applied immediately before feeding to facilitate the flow of milk. They can also be used before or during pumping to reduce pumping time by stimulating a faster flow of milk. For cold application: they bring relief to breasts that are sore and swollen due to overcrowding or mastitis. To prevent the compresses from moving, they can be placed in a bra.
